Service Description
Join the Apple Core Project for an afternoon of grafting in Montrose at the Ute Indian Museum on Saturday, April 15th. In this class you will learn how to graft apple trees and explore fruit growing history in the region. You will receive up to 3 rootstock & scion, a grafting knife and new growth cuttings (scion including the Chipeta Apple Tree growing at the museum class. You will also get wax and bands for your trees. Up to 10 more rootstocks or scion may be purchased online (go to our web store at applecoreproject.org/shop-1) or if you want to order special varieties of scion, please email us by April 1st.
